History

In Jan 14, 1990, on occasion of Makar Sakranti – our state branch took a shape with chairmanship of Late Dr. S N singh and Secretary Late Dr. Akhilesh saran. API Bihar started taking participation in national forum and we worked hard with honesty to make as many members across the state ( then combined bihar and Jharkhand). The herculean task of involving physicians across the state is done by Dr. B B Thakur, Dr. Ajay Kumar and Dr. K Tewary. They used to travel a lot sacrificing time of our family and beloved, for uniting physicians across the state and nationwide. In year 1992, APICON held in Patna- we together worked hard and National forum witnessed our strength of unity. The state gave two Presidents to API namely Dr. B B Thakur and Dr. K Tewary. Many Senior physicians got elected in GBM and played vital role in growth of API. In year 2006, Bihar again organised national conference APICON.
